Greenacres Park Phase II

Park History

Land was purchased in 2007 from Raymond Brown, Karla Ruddach, and Edward Lehman, which would become our future Greenacres Park. There were two parcels of land purchased that make up 8.3 acres. The Greenacres Park land was purchased with the help of a 50-% match in grant funding that was obtained from the Washington Interagency Committee, which is now known as the Recreation and Conservation Office. Greenacres is Spokane Valley's first new park since the city was incorporated on March 31, 2003.
