Summer Farmers Market

Summer Farmers MarketThe Spokane Valley Farmers Market will operate on Fridays, 4 to 8 pm, June 2 through September 15 in 2023.

The market is located at CenterPlace Regional Event Center and features are vendors, live music and food trucks with a monthly Food Truck Friday Night featuring approximately 10 trucks on the new West Lawn Plaza and music in the adjacent stage. Come join your neighbors in these summer Fridays at the market!

Public Art in the Community

  • The "Working the Line" (known locally as "the Mountain Man") sculpture by artist Jerry McKellar depicts a trapper like those who helped settle the region. Located just south of CenterPlace at the intersection of Mirabeau Parkway and Mansfield Avenue.
  • The "Harvest Time on the Big Missouri" sculpture by artist Nancy Powell McLaughlin is also known as "The Berry Picker" and depicts a young Native American Woman pausing to admire her reflection in the river. Located at City Hall on Sprague Avenue.
  • The "Dance of Sunday and Moon" sculpture by artist Jerry McKellar is based on a Native American legend about Sunday and Moon, who share the same lodge but only see each other twice a day as they pass in their journeys across the sky. Located at City Hall on Sprague Avenue.
