Central Valley School District
The Central Valley School District (CSVD) serves an 80-square-mile area in Spokane Valley. CVSD encompasses more than 30 Central Valley schools and learning centers.

Transportation
School bus transportation is offered to all students based on attendance area. Please be aware that all students are expected to register every year, regardless of their riding status for the prior year. Learn more about Central Valley School District's transportation.
Finances at Central Valley School District
Central Valley operates on a $217 million 2021/2022 General Fund Budget. The district receives funding from state, federal and local sources.More than 75% of the district’s funding comes from the state. The remaining revenues flow from local taxpayers via the School Programs and Operations levy ($28.5 million), the federal government ($25.1 million) and other sources ($3.5 million including Elementary & Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund ESSER). The district also maintains separate funds for capital projects, transportation vehicles, debt service and associated student body (ASB) activities.
East Valley School District
The East Valley School District encompasses approximately 100 square miles in the city and in areas of unincorporated Spokane County. The district boundaries extend from Butler Road in Spokane Valley east to the Idaho border, and from the Spokane River north to the foothills of Mount Spokane.

East Valley School District has a general fund operating budget of about $62 million. It spends about $15,000 per student annually.
West Valley School District
The West Valley School District is located eight miles east of downtown Spokane. Encompassing an area of approximately 25 square miles, the district is bordered by Spokane on the west, Woodruff Road on the east, the Dishman Hills to the south, and extends north of the valley.
